Publication policy

Editorial standards

The rules for sourcing, financial coverage, AI assistance, review, updates, and conflicts.

Evidence before narrative

We prefer filings, regulators, official economic data, rulebooks, and issuer materials for factual claims. Secondary reporting may add context but should not replace the original evidence when it is available.

  • Record the source, publish date, event date, period, and time checked.
  • Link the exact page or document that supports the claim.
  • State when evidence is preliminary, revised, vendor-supplied, disputed, or unavailable.

Education, not individualized advice

Market Pro Desk provides general reporting and education. It does not know a reader’s goals, finances, risk tolerance, tax situation, time horizon, or legal obligations and does not issue individualized investment or trading recommendations.

AI-assisted work

AI may help organize a source pack, challenge an outline, identify missing questions, or produce a draft for review. It may not fabricate filings, quotes, prices, tests, firsthand experience, sources, or credentials. A human editor must open every cited source and verify every material claim.

Tools, testing, and performance claims

A platform or strategy review states the tested plan, date, data feed, market context, price-check time, method, costs, limitations, and commercial relationship. Backtests and simulations are labeled and are not represented as live performance.

Advertising and affiliates

Advertising does not determine editorial conclusions. Affiliate links, sponsorships, gifts, access, or referral compensation are disclosed close to the relevant placement. Paid placement is not presented as reporting.
