01

Start with the signal

Use our three-question filter to decide whether a market headline deserves your time: What changed? What source proves it? What risk is missing?

02

Check the risk before the signal

Turn an alert or idea into a written check: source, time horizon, position risk, liquidity, fees, and what would disprove the thesis.

Build a repeatable research habit

Choose one company, one filing, and one decision question. Keep facts, assumptions, risks, and open questions separate.

Three questions before you act on a market headline

Use these questions for economic data, filings, price moves, platform alerts, and confident predictions. If one answer is missing, slow down before acting.

  1. What actually changed?Name the filing, policy, data release, price, rule, or company fact—not the narrative around it.
  2. What evidence supports it?Open the primary source, check the date and units, and separate reported fact from analysis or forecast.
  3. What risk is missing?Identify downside, liquidity, time horizon, fees, and what would make the conclusion wrong.
